Akoma Events plans and runs weddings, homecoming celebrations and corporate events across Ghana — whether you're in Accra or coordinating from London, New York, or Toronto.
Whether it's a wedding your family has waited years to host, or a launch your board is watching closely, the same team, vendor bench and standards carry through.
Engagement (knocking), traditional marriage, white wedding, and reception — planned as one continuous story, not separate events stitched together.
Funerals, anniversaries, birthdays, and family reunions for relatives returning to Ghana — handled with the cultural care and pace these occasions require.
Product launches, conferences, staff milestones, and building handover ceremonies — including for families completing a Cornerstone, BuildSmart or SwiftBuild home.
Most of our wedding and homecoming clients start this process from the UK, US or Canada. Here's how it runs.
A video or WhatsApp call to understand the occasion, guest count, dates, and what matters most to your family.
A package and budget tailored to you, with a staged payment plan — 50% deposit to secure your date.
Vendor bookings, venue walkthroughs, and design mockups shared with you on a running video and photo log.
Our team runs the day itself, so you and your family arrive to something fully in place.
Every package can flex between a wedding and a corporate event — the structure is the same, the content changes. Prices below are starting points; your final quote depends on guest count, venue and season.
Each area has its own venues, guest logistics and traditions. Explore a few, or see the full list.

Yes — this is a large part of our work. We run the full planning process remotely over video and WhatsApp calls, with a running photo and video log so you can see progress before you travel.
No. While most of our work is in Greater Accra, we regularly plan weddings and events in Kumasi, Takoradi, Cape Coast, and other locations across Ghana. See our locations page for details on specific areas.
A 50% deposit secures your date and covers initial vendor bookings and venue holds. The remaining balance is staged across the planning timeline, tied to key milestones rather than due all at once.
Yes — this is our default approach. We plan the knocking ceremony, traditional marriage, and white wedding/reception as one continuous sequence, so nothing is left disconnected between ceremonies.
We work with companies of any size, from a 30-person staff appreciation event to a multi-day conference. Packages scale to guest count and complexity.
You're welcome to bring your own vendors. Most clients use our vetted bench because it removes a layer of coordination, but we're glad to work alongside vendors you've already chosen.
We build a reasonable rescheduling window into every contract. Let us know as early as possible, and we'll work to move vendor bookings to your new date where possible.
Akoma Events sits alongside our construction brands — so a family completing a build has somewhere to turn for the handover party, and every wedding client meets a name they can trust for what comes after.
